About Me
Hello and Welcome ~
I’m a passionate person who has found joy, adventure, and a real sense of purpose in the arts.
Growing up in a military family taught me early on that change is a part of life. By age 15, I had already lived in four different states! But no matter where I went, I always found a home in the theatre. I loved spending my time on stage, usually singing or acting, and eventually got into sewing, crafting, piano, and dance—then anything that kept me connected to the magic of storytelling.
After graduating from Appalachian State University, I continued to perform on stage but then had the chance to work as an Assistant Stage Manager. I enjoyed being behind the scenes and getting my hands involved in all aspects of the production, which led me to pursue an MFA in Production & Project Management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me exploring my surroundings, curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee, creating something new at my sewing machine, binge-watching my favorite shows, whipping up tasty treats in the kitchen, playing video games, or cuddling with my cats. While I absolutely love creating entertainment for others, I’ve also learned how important it is to cherish my own hobbies and interests at the end of the day.
Whether I’m performing on stage or working behind the scenes, being involved in creating entertainment for my community brings me so much happiness. That is the fulfillment I am looking for in life.
